My 82 year old bedridden mothers sewer backed up and flooded her basement. We called SERVPRO 800 number and explained our dire situation. Late in the day and we where trying to figure out how to relocate mom. We received a call from Jon at SERVPRO of Bangor/Ellsworth and he said they were coming now, like in route, on the way. I thought it would take days to coordinate this clean up effort. Nope they dropped everything and are mobilized and will be on site within the hour. In disbelief I watched two trucks a bunch of guys and ton of equipment and they were on it. They work tirelessly and before we new it mom had a livable house, we never had to relocate. That day we were blessed with hero’s. Thanks to Bangor/Ellsworth SERVPRO. I will always recommend this company.

I want to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the SERVPRO professionals that came to our rescue when we had a water issue in our basement. In particular, John Symonds was the best!! His prompt response was very welcoming and his knowledge and professionalism was evident. We initially thought the water had entered the basement though a window, but John quickly dismissed this theory when we discovered a floor drain that had backed up. This was a great relief to us. When we discovered the damage after being away for two weeks, we were very proactive and did some damage control by pulling up saturated rugs and flooring. John had great praise for us for doing this and mentioned this would help in the cleanup of the mess. He had equipment in our home very quickly and had us drying out in a record amount of time. We learned to trust him because of his honesty with us and professional demeanor. We were scheduled to go on vacation and could not cancel. We felt confident enough with John to give him a key to the house so he could have access to do his job. We don't do this normally, but felt comfortable enough with him to allow it.We can't say enough good about John and the company he works for. Great job!!!

The crew members were detailed oriented with the work they were doing. Jon was the site manager for our job. He was very good to work with to be able to minimize the impact to our historic property. We were able to discuss the advantages and disadvantages to the possible approaches to remediate in order to get the results we needed. It felt like he respected our property.

Mike at SERVPRO was so helpful to us when we had a water leak that filled our basement and first-floor bathroom with water. He walked us through the process they use to dry out the house and checked in with us every step of the way over the few days they were doing work in our home. Highly recommend them for any kind of work like this.

We really like working with Service Pro. Everyone was so friendly from Amy to the Techs who came. That was a year ago to clean ductwork out. We recently discovered a hidden duct that was missed, (not just by them but 2 other duct cleaning comp.) when we took an old humidifier off the ductwork!! What a really gross find! About 60 years worth of 'mess'. When I called them and explained it to Mike the owner, he was so gracious and offered to send a crew out the NEXT DAY and he did and they did - no charge! Guess who we will call again when needed?!

I'm beyond impressed with the customer service I received from Mike at SERVPRO. He was quick to return my call, assess the situation, and provide knowledgeable feedback. Our tenant's washer hose became disconnected and she was unable to stop the washer from flooding the surrounding area including the condo below her. Mike offered to be there within an hour (in the evening mind you) to determine the proper protocol. He called me directly afterwards to explain the situation in full. Mike shared that we could handle the situation ourselves with minimal damage (thank goodness) and offered several solutions, so this doesn't happen in the future. I got a call one morning while I was at work from a contractor who had stopped by to do a job. When he opened the basement door he found a completely flooded basement. The pipe to a hose had frozen and burst sometime during the winter. I had just recently started using the hose to water plants and my habit was to turn the faucet on and turn it off when I was finished. The evening before I had not turned off the hose so for around 20 hours water spewed across my finished family room. there are four other rooms in my basement and they were all flooded. I didn't have any idea how I was going to handle this so I called SERVPRO. Mike showed up within the hour, took one look at the situation, and declared, we do this all the time, I've got this. His team arrived and they began the clean up. This was on a Thursday evening about 3pm and by 1:00 the next day the demolition was done and every item was removed, loaded onto a truck to be disposed of, and the dehumidifiers and fans in place. I was incredibility grateful for the service this team provided. I hope I never have another leak in my basement but if I did I would without hesitation call them again.

I sustained water damage to my bathroom, & bedroom floors and garage ceiling and called Serve Pro upon making the discovery. They agreed to come to my house immediately to assess the situation and then came back promptly with all of their drying equipment which they set up to mitigate the damage. They came to my house every day for 5 days to assess the progress, locked up my home afterwards and called to report. The bill was submitted directly to my insurance carrier. I felt they were trustworthy to be in my home and was I very happy with their service.

I recently had a flood in my master bathroom. I contacted SERVPRO, their response was quick. Their crew Chief "Roland" was great. He explained their process, went to work setting up their equipment. They returned four days later to gather up their equipment. This process was great the water damage was abated. This process went very smoothly, I highly recommend SERVPRO, they do a great JOB!

We had a serious fire on the top floor of our house in April, 2018 and a great deal of water was used by the firefighters as a result. A large SERVPRO team arrived within hours of being called and was able to stop the progression of water damage through the use of sensors, mitigation equipment, and careful demolition. Our home was built in 1880 and includes original millwork and built-ins. Due to SERVPRO’s timely and efficient help the historic charm of our house was saved. 

Recently, a broken pipe in our new home led to quite a bit of damage. Literally, after our insurance agent left our home and made a referral to SERVPRO, we received a call from SERVPRO who offered to inspect our home that same night. -Work started the next morning at 9:30. We are very satisfied with their speed, thoroughness, communication, and attention to detail. -It wasn’t an easy job, nor a fun one but no one on the crew expressed that to us. We would definitely recommend SERVPRO to anyone who finds themselves in the same situation. 

When your sewer backs up you leave the house. You call a capable plumber to clear the drain so the sewage drains out and then you better call SERVPRO to clean up the mess and make your home safe again.
